Pretty colors, I am working on collecting some jars so I can try this technique. I have a mimosa tree in bloom now-so the right time to collect the leaves, and I live in the woods so anxious to collect oak, hickory, black walnut to try in the solar pots-and we are very hot and sunny here now still-close to 100 degrees without the heat index added-so I need to get a move on-lol thanks for the inspiration
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! What a busy time you and Tara have been having. I look forward to seeing you at Woolfest.
ReplyDeleteThis all looks so exciting. I have moved to Wales now and see a dyepot beckoning to me on every walk I take. Are you far from Anfglesey?

ReplyDeleteyou've been busy - good luck at woolfest!
Magnificent work--I really admire anyone who has a good grasp of natural dyes!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone-so nice to have people popping in. My new wheel has been set up by the bench before now and I agree it is very inviting and I am planning on having a big spinning session after Woolfest. Hi jasmine I am about an hour form Anglesey - you are welcome to come and visit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely blog; so glad to have found you! I'm in South Wales, but hoping to move to Mid Wales at some point. It's really interesting to see what you are growing for dyestuffs in your garden. Thanks for sharing! Julie
